At times it can be very refreshing to stop to pause to look at my life and surroundings. It creates time to re-assess: is this the direction I want to be going? Is there a better way of doing something? Have I stopped or reached a goal without recognizing it to create a sense of completion and closure?
Pausing helps me to remember to breathe and make a sense of gratitude. A chance to admire the beauty, textures colors, smells and sounds (or lack of).
